Golden Beach & Skala Potamia
Golden Beach (Chrissi Ammoudia) is a 2.5 km stretch of fine golden sand and shallow turquoise waters, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and safe play for children. The beach is fully organized, offering sunbeds, umbrellas, and water sports, yet still retains a laid-back charm that invites you to simply unwind.
At one end of Golden Beach lies Skala Potamia, a lively yet relaxed coastal village with a friendly local atmosphere. Here you’ll find a lovely beachfront promenade, traditional taverns serving fresh seafood, and small boutiques offering handcrafted souvenirs. The area is also a great base for nature walks, cycling, or exploring the surrounding olive groves and pine-covered hills.

By Air
The nearest airport is Kavala International Airport (Megas Alexandros), located in Chrisoupoli, approximately 30 minutes from the port of Keramoti. Flights from Athens, Germany, the UK, and other European countries serve Kavala during the summer season. From the airport, a short taxi or car ride takes you to Keramoti Port.
By Ferry
From Keramoti Port, take the ferry to Thassos Town (Limenas). The crossing takes about 35 minutes, with frequent departures throughout the day in summer. Once in Limenas, it’s a 15-minute drive to Menta Studios in Skala Potamia.
From Limenas (Thassos Town)
If you're traveling by car: From Thassos Town, follow the scenic road to Skala Potamia (approx. 12 km). Our property offers private fenced parking, including an electric vehicle charging station.
